Meet Our Co-Hosts

Corynne L. Corbett

Corynne L. Corbett believes wholeheartedly that beauty is in the mind of the beholder.  A recognized beauty and lifestyle expert and an accomplished media professional, Corynne has spent her career helping women and girls celebrate their beauty inside and out. She has held senior editorial positions at ELLEHeart & SoulMODE and Essence and has consulted with a variety of beauty brands. She is the CEO & Founder of Beauty BIzCamp®, a company dedicated to helping girls and young women use beauty as a catalyst to change the world with programs in four tracks—STEM, Artistry, Business, and Entrepreneurship—as well as build positive self-esteem. She is working on a new project that allows her to merge her beauty experience with technology to provide communities of color, from Gen-X to Gen-Z, opportunities to define beauty for themselves, advocate for their needs, find the right products, and acquire the skills to take a leading role in how the media interprets their images and stories.

Corynne holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Merchandising and Management from Pratt Institute and a Masters of Professional Studies in Technology Entrepreneurship from the University of Maryland College Park. 

Kim C. D’Abreu

Kim C. D’Abreu is a leadership coach and Principal at Diversity Dimensions. Diversity Dimensions works with leaders to clarify their values in order to courageously shape their own development. She specializes in coaching executives and women entrepreneurs through transitions. Kim is passionate about the intersection of culture, identity, and traditional leadership competencies, customizing strategic solutions to support her clients’ career success and helping organizations to unlock the potential of their diverse talent. Her extensive experience designing and managing impactful workforce diversity and inclusion programs on a national level has positioned her as a sought-after thought leader in education, healthcare, and non-profit sectors. Her expertise includes effectively developing tools, strategies, and collateral resources focused on climate and cultural competencies as a means to promote the success of women, racial and ethnic minorities, LGBT communities, and other marginalized groups.

Kim is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), and is certified in facilitation by the Leadership Strategies Institute and obtained her Certificate in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from The Johns Hopkins University and Master of Public Health Degree from the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health.
